Our super silky sensory doughs are buildable like a modeling compound, but are squishy and silky smooth like a butter slime. They are softer, more pliable, and far longer lasting than any compound you have tried before! Every all-natural KidDough is made with non-toxic food grade ingredients and is totally taste safe. These super durable doughs last for hundreds of hours of play (12 months on average) but wash out easily with just warm water. If ever you experience drying, just knead to rehydrate!
The beautifully smooth texture is not crumbly or gritty and will actually help encourage hands-on tactile play, making it great for sensory seekers and sensory avoiders alike. Not bad at all pricey but fun
My 5 year old needs tactile sensory toys, and smells EVERYTHING, so for a long time (going on 3 years now) we have had and played with the same EGKD. Some of them were so encumbered with things my kids had accidentally got in there it was time to replace them. Miraculously, getting the scented and glittery/not glittery doughs makes a difference for my kiddos if they will mix colors or not which I think is neat. They like the original scents enough to let them be on their own and not mix them. This mini kit was a HIT. It was a Christmas cookie decoration themed one, and even though it’s March, it did not stop both of my kids from sprinkling ALLLL the sprinkles and pretending to make all the cookies. I think they probably liked to sprinkle the sprinkles the most and in the future will remember how much they enjoyed that. I will buy kits that have sprinkle in add-ons. It was a whole sensory journey. I highly recommend a play tray. One, it keeps the doughs clean, and two, it kept the sprinkles contained. It also allows them to bring out all their dough supplies to the table all at once. I have one for each kid.
These are excellent! They keep my son busy for hours and are small enough to take with us when we’re on the go!
